What do you most look forward to about the work you do?
- I look forward to resolving most if not all of the insurance billing issues we come across with insurance companies. I look forward to providing accurate insurance coverage to our valued clients and reach out to them to ensure clarity of anything related to their insurance.
What do you most value about the work you do?
- I value the trust that CCAC has given me - taking care of these billing concerns with insurance companies and taking care of our clients as it pertains to explaining insurance coverage.
What is something clients might never guess about you?
- I can see colors, I just don't know how to identify them.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
- I always wanted to be an engineer but ended up being a registered nurse and a licensed teacher for secondary education here in the Philippines because the school I enrolled in did not offer engineering courses.
My working career has revolved around providing customer service. After graduation, I practiced my profession as a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines for a couple of years. After which, I applied to insurance companies that provide various services to their customers and I became their representative. While working as a Customer Service Associate, I found myself the need to study Education and eventually became a Licensed Teacher for Secondary Education. I continued working as a Customer Service Associate before joining CCAC family.
My job here at CCAC is most likely in the back office working on those insurance billings, and making sure patient coverage is established before their first appointment. I ensure that anything billing-related concerns are taken care of, so our clients can focus on the services that they require with our clinicians, and not worry about being covered or not with those services.
