Hi, I'm Madelyne!
I'm a post-doctoral psychology resident practicing out of Fort Collins, CO with a focus in assessment.
Psychological evaluations for ADHD, learning disorders, and/or behavioral/mood disorders.
Hi there! I am a post-doctoral resident here at CCAC and I am so excited to be joining the team! I graduated from Iowa State University with my PhD in Counseling Psychology, and I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Southern Arizona Psychological Internship Consortium. In my training, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including university counseling centers, group private practice, community mental health, and residential treatment. My focus has been conducting psychological evaluations for a number of presentations including ADHD, learning disorders, ASD, and behavioral/emotional disorders. I have also enjoyed my work as an individual and group therapist!
As a clinician, I consider myself an approachable client-centered and emotion-focused therapist. I love being able to process difficult and uncomfortable emotions and to really allow you to be heard! I truly believe that you are in the expert in you and my role is to meet you with curiosity and compassion. Also, I love being able to pull on my strengths of being detail-oriented and empathetic in the therapy and testing processes. When conducting psychological evaluations, I want to hear from you about what you think is going well (and things that aren't) and incorporate that into our exploration together.
I am looking forward to exploring northern Colorado especially all of the beautiful hiking trails and abundant breweries!
