Highly Sensitive People Often "Feel Too Much" And "Feel Too Deep"

Highly Senstive People experience the world differently. They can be aware of all the little things many people skip over. They feel their emotions and the emotions of others very deeply. Lighting, noises, conflict, texture, and all sorts of other sensations are deeply felt and can become overwhelming. Oftentimes people who identify as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) can be misunderstood and they have difficulty communicating. So, we created these groups as really intentional support system for HSPs. The groups are a safe space with a small group of people all wanting to grow and know themselves better.

The goals of the groups are to provide support and help you understand the traits common to highly sensitive people. The Introductory Group is where we will help you build self-awareness, develop coping skills, and give you the skills to better connect with others as a highly sensitive person. The Relationships Group is all about learning how to explore feelings of vulnerability, manage conflict, and improve your communication skills to form and maintain relationships. The Advanced Group is to help you grow deeper self-awareness of your behaviors and motivations as a Highly Sensitive Person. You will learn how to cope and recover from invalidation, and how to communicate with people who are not highly sensitive. The groups are facilitated by Rebecca Hoke, LCSW, and Jennifer Bargmann, LPC.

Relationships Group

6 Weekly Sessions

Saturdays 10:30am-12pm

Starting September 14th

Advanced Group Members must have completed the Introductory Group to participate

4 Weekly Session

Wednesdays 3-5pm

Starting October 9th
