Hi, I'm Kelly!
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing out of Johnstown, CO with a focus in counseling.

Systems-Oriented, Experiential, Couples and Families, Group Therapy
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Johnstown, Colorado. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy in May 2016. I have over 5 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I spent three years as a School-Based Therapist working in a community based setting providing individual, group, and family therapy for elementary, middle, and high school students.
I absolutely love working with students and families! I enjoy understanding the unique interests and hobbies of each client I work with and incorporating these interests and hobbies into every therapy session. As a therapist, I provide a safe space by embracing authentic connection and a compassionate presence. I specialize in working with clients who struggle with feelings of anxiety and depression as well as clients experiencing grief and loss or having a challenging time navigating life transitions. It is a huge passion of mine to guide people on their journey to self-empowerment, personal growth, and meaningful transformation.
On a personal note, I grew up in a suburb of Detroit, attended Indiana University for my undergraduate degree, lived in St. Louis for two years as an AmeriCorps member, and moved to Fort Collins, Colorado six years ago to attend graduate school. I love spending time outside and you can often find me going on a walk, hiking, snowshoeing, biking, swimming, or camping. Community is important to me and I am a Principal Dancer for the Colorado Dance Collective as well as a member of a monthly women's book club. Two of my favorite things in the world are traveling and spending time with my partner, friends, and family.
