Hi, I'm Molly!
I'm a licensed psychologist practicing out of Fort Collins, CO with a focus in counseling.
ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, behavioral or mood concerns, and vocational concerns
I am a Licensed Psychologist practicing in Fort Collins, Colorado. I graduated from Colorado State University with a PhD in Counseling Psychology in August of 2013. I have over 6 years of clinical experience; much of which has been in university and community college counseling centers, college career centers, and community mental health settings. I also spent two years as a psychometrician working under a Clinical Neuropsychologist in private practice.
As a therapist, I work to offer a very genuine and collaborative therapy experience. I specialize in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, social issues, Mild Autism (formerly known as Asperger’s), as well as clients who are struggling with career/educational problems and choices. However, I also consider myself to be a generalist and am open to working with a broad area of other client concerns as well.
I believe that it is only human to struggle with life from time to time, and in this shared experience, we are all connected. I provide an approach that incorporates both coping strategies and skill building, all while providing empathic support and an interpersonal relationship focus. I am comfortable collaborating with psychiatrists or primary care physicians in charge of prescribing any mental health medications, or making referrals for a prescribing provider when appropriate.
To offer a little more about my personal background, I grew-up in Georgia and attended undergraduate in Asheville, NC before finding my way out to Fort Collins, Colorado for my graduate studies. I completed my predoctoral internship at the counseling center at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, but made plans to move back to Fort Collins with my husband soon afterwards. We love it here and are very happy to be back. I enjoy hiking and camping, a bit of winter sports, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and our little dachshund, Hoggle.
